Privacy Policy
Application: Deep Drill
This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled in the Android version of Deep Drill, a mobile game developed and published by Mateusz Karczewski (the “Developer”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
1. General information
Deep Drill does not require an account with the Developer and does not ask the player to provide a name, telephone number, postal address, contacts, or complete payment-card details.
2. Data stored locally
The game may store game progress, unlocked locations and discoveries, resources, in-game currency, equipment upgrades, gameplay statistics, timers, language, audio and gameplay settings, and purchase-entitlement status on the device. This data is used to operate the game and restore progress. It remains until reset or deleted, the application is uninstalled, or a device backup is removed.
3. Advertising
Deep Drill uses Google AdMob as its only advertising provider. The game does not use Unity LevelPlay to request, mediate, or display advertisements.
The game may show advertising, including optional rewarded ads. A promised reward is granted only after AdMob confirms completion. Because the game is intended for all age groups, including young children, ad requests are configured for child-directed treatment. Personalized and remarketing ads are disabled, child-appropriate content protections are applied, and the Android Advertising ID (AAID) is not transmitted with those requests.
4. Advertising-related data
Google AdMob may process limited information needed to provide child-appropriate, non-personalized advertising:
- IP address and approximate location inferred from it;
- device, installation, app, operating-system, language, and network information;
- ad requests, impressions, views, completions, clicks, reward events, and ad performance;
- consent status and other privacy signals;
- crash, performance, security, fraud-prevention, and other diagnostic information.
The game does not request precise GPS location for advertising and does not provide an in-game account name, email address, or AAID to AdMob.
5. Firebase on Android
The Android version uses Firebase services supplied by Google for app operation, analytics, diagnostics, performance monitoring, configuration, and service improvement. Depending on the Firebase modules enabled in a release, Firebase may process app-instance or installation identifiers, device and app information, IP address, country or approximate region, app launches and gameplay events, crash logs, stack traces, performance measurements, and related diagnostics.
Firebase is not used to require a Deep Drill account. The Developer does not intentionally send names, contact details, or precise location to Firebase. Firebase is not included in the Apple version described by the separate Apple policy.
6. Purposes and legal bases
Information may be processed to provide and improve the game, deliver and measure child-appropriate non-personalized ads, confirm rewarded-ad completion, maintain game configuration, understand feature usage, diagnose crashes, prevent fraud, secure services, comply with legal duties, and process or restore purchases.
Where the GDPR, UK GDPR, or similar law applies, processing is based on consent where required, performance of a service requested by the user, compliance with legal obligations, or legitimate interests such as security, fraud prevention, diagnostics, and service improvement, subject to applicable balancing requirements.
7. Consent and privacy choices
The game does not use personalized advertising. AdMob receives a child-directed treatment signal and serves only eligible non-personalized advertising with protections intended for children. Device-level privacy controls and any privacy-options entry point available in the game can also be used.
8. In-app purchases
Deep Drill may offer in-app purchases through Google Play Billing. Google handles payment processing; the Developer does not receive complete card or bank-account details. The game and Google may process product identifiers, purchase tokens, order-related identifiers, purchase status, and entitlement information to validate, unlock, support, refund, or restore content.
9. Third-party recipients and policies
Information may be processed by Google in connection with AdMob, Firebase, and Google Play Billing. Google processes information under its own terms and privacy practices.
The Developer does not sell personal information for money. Some laws may treat certain advertising disclosures as a “sale”, “sharing”, or “targeted advertising”; applicable opt-out choices will be respected.
10. Children
Deep Drill is intended for all age groups, including children aged 5 and younger. It does not include account creation, social communication, or a form for children to submit personal information directly to the Developer. AdMob is configured for child-directed treatment for every ad request: personalized advertising and remarketing are disabled, the AAID is not transmitted, and child-appropriate ad protections are applied. The Developer aims to comply with COPPA, the Google Play Families Policy, the GDPR rules applicable to children, and other applicable child-privacy laws.
11. Retention, transfers, and security
Google retains advertising, analytics, diagnostic, and purchase data according to its policies, legal obligations, and service needs. Google and its providers may process data outside the user’s country and use required transfer safeguards. Reasonable measures are used for information handled directly by the game, but no transmission or storage system is completely secure.
12. Your rights
Depending on location, users or their parent or guardian may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection; withdraw consent; and complain to a data-protection authority. Requests about data independently controlled by Google may need to be sent directly to Google.
13. Changes and contact
This Policy may be updated when the game, SDK configuration, providers, or legal requirements change. The latest version will be posted here with a revised date. For privacy questions or requests, contact Mateusz Karczewski at westpoland@gmail.com.
